Dress Code

Dress Code

Let us always remember that--even in our outer appearance--we are called to reflect the image of Christ. Below are a few guidelines (for both males and females of all ages) to help you and your family determine what is acceptable and respectable, especially during church services and during churchsponsored activities.

Guidelines for Christian Males & Females (all ages)

Acceptable
  • Shorts, skirts, dresses (at knee length or longer) are acceptable except during services which take place inside the sanctuary (Asheya, Tasbeha, Liturgy, Agpeya Prayer, etc.). On days when there is church service and sports, it is a good idea to bring a change of clothes.
  • Modest swimsuits
Not Acceptable
  • Shorts, skirts, dresses above the knees
  • Sleeveless or low-cut shirts/tops
  • Tight fitting clothing

Let us one of us repeat with Isaiah saying,

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10)
