The Big Heart
- It’s a heart that has room for many people and many things.

The Word of God cannot be chained
This fact is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit on the mouth of our teacher Paul, the Apostle, in his last imprisonment (2 Timothy 2:9). His hands were chained and the evil enemy thought that he was able to silence him, paralyze his movement, and limit his ministry. Nonetheless, the word of God itself cannot be chained, regardless of the unfair and unrelenting practices which Satan’s tries to impose on us. Despite his restricted movement, Saint Paul was a beacon of light, force of love, powerful giver and teacher even when he was in prison. If people were able to visit him, he would speak to them about eternal life. When he was completely isolated, he would write spiritual Epistles that overflow with words of grace and comfort.

Faith versus Belief
Faith is a fundamental virtue in the life of every Christian, and it is the basis of strife, conduct, and interactions. As the Scripture says: “The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). Faith is the basis of spiritual life. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Let’s raise them well
We constantly need to evaluate our method in raising our children, so we may improve upon our shortcomings in what we offer them, and to avoid serious mistakes early on in their lives that may cause deep wounds and leave permanent scars.

Blessed be the name of the Lord
The difficult trial that befell on Job was very harsh on him. It had the element of surprise, comprehensiveness to all what he possessed, and severe loss that appears to be unrecoverable. As to Job, he submitted himself to God and kneeled down saying, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there… the Lord gave, and the Lord as taken away, Blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21). When his wife complained about the situation and incited him to complain to God, he answered her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” (Job 2:10)

The Lord is my Shepherd
+ He is the Good Shepherd. Therefore, His care guarantees the best and utmost happiness for me.

Freedom offered by Christ
Freedom in Christ is the true freedom, as the Lord Jesus emphasized: “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36) It is not a political or material freedom, but rather, it’s the freedom of the spirit from the dominance of desires and wickedness, as the Lord said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” (John 8:34).

Profit from the viewpoint of the Church
The Church is a divine-human institution in the midst of the world, and a living Embassy for heaven on earth that receives messages from heaven and broadcasts it to all hearts in all languages.

Where can I see Him?
+ The cross is the only way that leads to Resurrection and Life for it leads man in the narrow path, and therefore, it makes him steadfast in the road of eternal life.

Setting out towards Jerusalem
There is a unique incident about the Lord Jesus in the Gospel of Saint Luke that was not mentioned by any of the other Evangelists. It is mentioned in the ninth chapter as follows:
